It's July 10th, 2005. Heavy rains have fallen this summer in Austria. The River Mur is running fast and high. Locals longing for the sun and the sea found a way to enjoy summer. They discovered how to ride the endless wave. It really is a river. The wave has been created by putting big stones under one of the city's many bridges. This creates the back flow and the wave. Apparently locals have been surfing this wave for the past 2 years.
