  • for a GNU/linux distribution developed to fulfill needs of small non-profit organisation, go here. NGO geeks is a portal providing info on FLOSS for NGOs.
  • using LiveCD, you can build your own customized live linux distribution
  • i-hacked has a list of usefull linux commands
  • you can find lot of command line tips and tricks here
  • here is a comprehensive list of linux equivalents of popular windows software.
  • if you want to have a CD full of free software gems for windows platform, grab here you will find mozilla firefox extensions.
  • you can store your bookmarks using delicious. you can see mine. you can search other people's bookmarks using tags, or you can check what's popular. Update: I'm going to migrate to del.irio.us instead because it's free.
  • finally, you can upload your photos here.
