ICT offers possibilities and opportunities for development, but it is meaningful only if their contents reflect local conditions. Localization of ICT is a way of customizing programs and materials to suit the local people, and to have impact on the culture of the local communities and minorities.
It is only when the people understand the language of the technology and see themselves in it that they can make meaningful contributions in it.

This is in two parts, because of the risk of it being too long:
(1) Learn how to use a simple database model which automatically generates light, simple, or even fairly complex databases automatically for your website needs.
(2) Learn how data travels from your PC to a server, to a database. Learn how sites like Amazon are designed, and how this design has driven the future of web server development.
Beginners are welcome. If there are enough advanced attendees I will hold a second, separate talk for advanced use
